INVISALIGN® IS A BRAND WITHIN CLEAR ALIGNER THERAPY
Start with the movement you need—not the logo on the tray.
Our frozen Clear Aligners page is the main Bright Smiles resource for removable aligner treatment. Invisalign® remains an important option and a familiar patient search term, but it is not the only system we use.
INVISALIGN®
A removable aligner system
Digital planning creates a sequence of aligners intended to move teeth in stages. Some cases also use attachments, elastics, interproximal reduction or refinement aligners when clinically appropriate.
THE MAIN CATEGORY

Lumyra, Invisalign®, ClearCorrect and SureSmile® are part of the broader aligner conversation. Appliance selection follows diagnosis, movement requirements and treatment goals.
WHAT INVISALIGN® ASKS OF THE PATIENT
Removable treatment adds flexibility—and responsibility.
Wear as prescribed
Aligners only move teeth while they are being worn. Your dentist will give you a daily wear schedule based on the treatment plan.
Remove for meals & cleaning
Aligners are typically removed to eat and for oral hygiene, which can make brushing and flossing more straightforward than with fixed appliances.
Change stages on schedule
Progress depends on wearing each stage as directed and moving to the next aligner when instructed.
Expect refinements when needed
Additional scans, attachments or refinement aligners may be recommended if the teeth need further movement before retention.

WHAT TO ASK AT YOUR CONSULTATION
Can clear aligners create the movement my case needs?
The key question is not simply whether the trays are clear. Ask what movements are planned, whether attachments or elastics may be needed, how compliance affects the result and what the retention plan will be.
COMPARE, DON’T ASSUME
Invisalign® may be the right aligner system. Another system may fit better.
We do not position one clear-aligner brand as universally faster, more comfortable or better. The best choice depends on the planned movement, available features, clinician workflow and your individual case.

ANOTHER ALIGNER BRAND
ClearCorrect
A separate clear-aligner system offered within the same broader treatment category.
FIXED ALTERNATIVE
Braces
A fixed appliance that stays on the teeth and does not rely on daily tray wear.
PLANNING & FINANCIAL QUESTIONS
Compare the complete treatment plan—not just the aligner brand.
What is included?
Ask about active treatment, planned visits, refinement policies, attachments or auxiliaries when needed, and retention after treatment. The total treatment design matters more than the name on the aligner package.
Insurance & benefits
We accept your insurance and will help you maximize your available benefits. Orthodontic benefits vary by plan. Our team can review estimated fees and available payment or financing options.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Invisalign® questions patients ask
Use the consultation to decide whether Invisalign® or another orthodontic path fits the case.
Is Invisalign® the same thing as clear aligners?
Invisalign® is one brand of clear-aligner treatment. Bright Smiles also offers other clear-aligner systems, and the best system depends on the individual treatment plan.
How many hours a day do I need to wear Invisalign®?
Wear aligners according to your dentist’s instructions. Clear-aligner treatment depends on consistent daily wear, and your prescribed schedule should guide you rather than a generic number.
Can I eat with Invisalign® aligners in?
Aligners are generally removed for meals and most beverages other than water, then teeth and aligners are cleaned as directed before reinsertion.
Will I need attachments?
Some cases use small tooth-colored attachments to help create particular movements. Not every patient needs the same attachments or auxiliaries.
What are refinement aligners?
Refinements are additional aligner stages that may be planned if more movement is needed after an initial series.
Can Invisalign® fix bite problems?
Clear aligners can address many alignment and bite concerns, but the suitability of Invisalign® depends on the specific movements required and individual case.
Is Invisalign® faster than braces?
Not universally. Treatment time depends on the starting bite, movement needed, biological response and patient compliance. Appliance choice alone does not determine speed.
Is Invisalign® more comfortable than braces?
The experiences are different, and temporary pressure or soreness can occur with any orthodontic tooth movement. We do not promise one appliance will be more comfortable for every patient.
Can teenagers use Invisalign®?
Some teens are good candidates, particularly when they can follow the prescribed wear schedule. The bite and movements required also matter.
Can adults use Invisalign®?
Yes, many adults can be treated with clear aligners when oral health and the planned movements are appropriate.
Will I need retainers afterward?
Yes. Retention is normally recommended after clear-aligner treatment because teeth can shift after active movement.
Does insurance cover Invisalign®?
Benefits vary. We accept your insurance and will help you maximize your available benefits. The team can review orthodontic benefits and estimated responsibility before treatment.
